This is Volume 4 of 9 in the collection of Huxley's Collected Essays.

The title page starts with the title, subtitle and author's name. At the bottom of the page, the publication information and the date. The quality of this page is great with minimal insect damage besides the larger spot near the title.

On the inside of the cover, there are two of Edith Wharton's bookplates. The first one is from Sainte-Claire-du-Chateau Hyeres, it is in a horizontal shaped box with alternating design around the edges. The second is from Land's End, this one is more nautical themed with a ship in the middle and the edges are surrounded by waves. This page has mold damage throughout including on the bookplates
